Father's Day Part 2

On the Sunday of Father's Day, Matt was helping lead worship at church.  This has it's good and bad points.

Good - I LOVE seeing him up on stage.  And he loves it.  (For you new readers - The Hubs was a Music Minister for almost 8 years before God put him on a new path - Aflac.)  It is probably the one thing in this life that he is the MOST comfortable doing.

Bad - It means that I have to get myself and LL ready and to church by 9:05.  Have you ever met a 2 year old?  Yeah. It's difficult.  Also, Matt has to be there for all three services (9:15, 11:00, and 12:45).  That means that he doesn't get done until almost 2:00.

Here are my two favorite people and all of Matt's past Father's Days.

My dad invited us over for dinner on Father's Day, so I decided to just go over there after church and let LL nap there since I was flying solo anyway.

All of these were SO good.  How was I supposed to pick just one??

We had a great time just hanging out, letting LL play, napping (all of us!), etc.  My dad grilled some yummy steaks for dinner, we played hide-n-go-seek (LL's FAV game), took a bath, and then headed home.  It was a really nice, relaxing day.  And I didn't have to cook anything, so that was a plus.  ;)

LL walking Happy.  Who looks remarkably like Arthur.

This is my ex-dog, Arthur.  My parents gave him to me for my 15th birthday.  But then when I moved out, they refused to let me take him with me.  I think they owe me a replacement birthday present.  ;)

Opa teaching LL how to drink out of a hose.  That's how we rock it down here in the South.

I am one lucky girl!

Topless.  Flouncy skirt.  Highheels.  Oh.  No.

Silly girl!
