If you've met Cooper for longer than about 15 seconds, that you know first hand that he is a busy little boy. When we decided not to have someone come help with our pictures this year as our "smile getter", I was a little nervous because Cooper is typically the one who needs it the most. Well, I need to give him and Lindsay at Captured By Colson a ton of credit because we didn't need anyone else! Lindsay and Cooper just get each other, and I think it shows in these pictures! Lindsay has been taking Cooper's pictures since I was pregnant with him, and I love that she has been doing this for literally his entire life!
Cooper rocked out his session. Here are his pictures at 6 years old!
Ya'll. Oh. My. Goodness. Every year, Lindsay gets one picture where I think "Yep! That's Cooper" and this is the picture from this year. This is just so Cooper wrapped up in one picture. Happy, handsome, and a little bit of a look in his eye like he might be up to something.
He is always so proud of how old he is, and I love that!
My boys. I've said this so many times before, but it is so true. I prayed and prayed that God would give us all girls for our children. I am so glad that He knows what we need, because I need these boys in my life. It is the greatest blessing to see Matt raise a son in his footsteps.
Sometimes you've got to entertain the 6 year old during a long photo-session!
I talked in LL's post about how she and I have an amazing bond, but she is a Daddy's girl. Well. You guys. This boy is just absolutely over the moon for his Mommy. I just love it and soak it up as much as I can, as I know it will switch to Daddy as he gets older. For right now, I hung the moon for this little man, and it is the most amazing thing.
The journey to get Cooper here wasn't the easiest, but it was so worth it. He is everything we never knew we needed (even if he is contributing greatly to my grey hair collection!).
Here's a look back at his past pictures with Lindsay:
