Summer: Week 4

After a quite week at home last week, we had a little bit more excitement this week!  Week 4 was from June 11-17.

Monday:
We kicked off this lazy Monday with the kids having some play time upstairs.  LL came down after a little while with all of these lego creations that she made!

Eventually we all got dressed and ready and headed to the gym for a little while.

We spent the rest of the day as a lazy day at home.  Summer lunches are my favorite - anyone with me?

Someone was feeling extra lazy this day! #roughlife

LL was pumped to get her first pen-pal letter from her friend, Lorelai!  They met on the cruise and hit it off instantly!

LL wasn't the only one who got fun mail: I ordered myself an o-venture key chain and wallet to have for the summer.  Let me tell you - they are pricey but so worth it!  This has been my sanity this summer and not having to carry a purse!  Between this and the Loopy case on my phone, I'm good to go!

Tuesday:
We deemed Tuesday as a pool day at Gigi's!  We got there around 9:30, and the kids swam, and I did this:

Jelly Bean came to swim with us, too!

I am at the stage of life where I am loving all the babies my friends have.  I don't want another one of my own, but I will gladly snuggles yours (and then give it back - haha).

So precious!

The kids actually took a little break from swimming to hold Hadley, too!

Swimming must have worn them out because this is what I found when I went to get Cooper for dinner...

Wednesday:
Wednesday was the day that the kids and I left for Orlando for our trip with friends.  You can read all about it here!

Thursday:
Thursday was filled with lots of swimming, a trip to Disney Springs, and dinner at the T-Rex Cafe!  You can read all about it here!

Friday:
Friday was more swimming and then beating the heat with some fun ice cream!  You can read all about it here!

Saturday:
Saturday while the kids and I were heading home (and stopping by Ikea), Matt was fishing with some friends.

I decided to tackle putting some Ikea furniture by myself.

And I succeeded!

If I'm the only one awake to see that I ate ice cream, did it really even happen??  ;)

Sunday:
Sunday was Father's Day.  We were supposed to spend some time celebrating at Grammy and Pop's house, but due to some attitude issues, Cooper and Matt were the only ones able to go.  It wasn't the best situation (especially on Father's Day), but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!  This was the only picture that we took of the day, and Matt took it at lunch.
