Summer: Week 2

Our first week of summer kicked off with a bang (you can read all about it here), and the second week didn't disappoint, either!  Here's what we were up to from May 28 - June 3!

Monday:
Kicking off the week on a cruise is definitely not a bad way to spend a Monday!  We spent the day at the Atlantis water park, and you can read all about it here!

Tuesday:
The next day was a relaxing day at the beach in the Bahamas.  You can read all about it here!

Wednesday:
This was the last day of our cruise and a day at sea.  You can read all about it here!

Thursday:
Thursday we got off the boat and hit Ikea on the way home.  Once vacation was over, all we had on the brain was moving into the new house!  You can read all about it here!

Friday:
We thought we would be able to start moving in our stuff when we got back from the cruise, but it was taking the floor guys longer than expected to put in all of the new flooring.  Instead, we spent the day scrubbing the house in preparation of everything getting moved it (which actually worked out well).

Don't these floors look amazing?!

You do what you gotta do on National Donut Day, right?!

I also spent some time snuggling another favorite Donut of mine! (my sister's new puppy!)

While we scrubbed the house, the kids were living the life and enjoying Gigi's pool!  There was no coming down from vacation for them when you get to go straight into summer break!

Cooper helped drive us around the neighborhood (from Oma and Opa's to Gigi's and Poppy's).  This was also our last night staying at Gigi and Poppy's before we could officially move in!

Saturday:
Saturday was our "move in all the stuff" day!  Kayla, Andrew, and Baby Hadley came to visit us, too.

I will gladly stop moving boxes to snuggle a baby!

At our old house, we were too far out in the country for pizza delivery.  We went 11 years without pizza delivery.  I'll let that sink in.  As a house warming present, my sister and brother-in-law had pizza delivered for dinner for our first night in the new house!

Sunday:
Up and ready for church and our first front porch picture at the new house!

It used to take us about 25 - 30 minutes to get to church - now it take us SIX!

So far, summer is off to an amazing start!
