May Randoms

May was a super busy month for us.  We finished school (3rd grade and preschool), I got a new job, we sold our house, we bought a new house, we went on a cruise, and we kicked off summer vacation.  Whew!  Even with all of that going on, there were still some things from this month that didn't fit into a post of their own:

If you don't like anxiety, I don't recommend buying and selling a house at the exact same time.  This process was not for the faint of heart!

This is what life comes to sometimes - haha.

The end of school brings so many casual days.  I love it!

May also holds teacher appreciation week, and we got tons of nice surprises at school!

These two were winding down their days of preschool drop-off!

Gigi and Poppy took everyone out to dinner for my birthday this month!

Birthday cake?  No thanks!  I'd rather have a birthday donut!

Also to celebrate my birthday, Grammy and Cooper baked me cake!

A fun celebration and a super yummy cake!

Life was crazy busy, but I still fit in time to workout!

Kayla had her baby at the end of April, so we let them get home and settled before we brought the kids over to meet Hadley for the first time.  Both kids were so so excited and fell in love with her immediately!

Matt gave Lola a bath one night, and when he was done he wrapped her up like a burrito.  He brought her to me and I held her for a little while - I looked down and she was sound asleep!  Bless.  Being almost 14 means even a bath wears you out.

Not a casual day!  Shocker!  Shirt: Target, Pants: Old Navy, Shoes: Michael Kors

My sister got a new puppy this month, and he is adorable!!  Meet Donut!

Another fun treat at school:

The kids had to soak up their last few weeks playing in this backyard!

Casual Day #5: Jeans: Old Navy, Shoes: Shoreline Converse

I'm slowly starting to see some pretty good progress in the gym!

This is seriously Aspyn's favorite way to lay around the house.

Early morning snuggles!

Casual Day #6: Shirt: Etsy, Jeans: Old Navy, Shoes: Nike Flyknit

The kids love these rocketcoptors!  If you don't have a lot of trees in your yard, these are great!

One Saturday, we all took a break from stressing and packing, and just had some fun together!

Thankfully I was able to fit in a Girl's Night Out this month!  I sure needed it!

I love these girls!  They are my rock!

When we started moving stuff out of the house, we took the kids' matresses off the frames and put them on the ground in LL's room.  It was so sweet seeing them sleep together for about a week.  (But poor Cooper - we packed all of his stuffed animals, so he had to sleep with one of LL's - haha).

Casual Day #7 (and an outside water day).  Shorts: Old Navy, Shoes: Nike Flyknit

Casual Day #8 and a repeat from earlier in the month!

Ya'll.  Some days you just gotta do what you gotta do.

Our life pretty much revolved around packing boxes!

Cooper and I made our super awesome chocolate chip cookies for teacher gifts this year!

Dressed up for a change! (Awards Day - haha).  Dress: Belk, Shoes: Amazon

Cooper is amazing us at how good he's doing at swimming this year!!  He is also getting great at diving to the bottom!

We did take a break from all the craziness of moving and packing one night to go to Emily's house for an adoption celebration.  Sweet Spear's adoption was final this month, and he is 100% a Parker!

Matt came home with this one day and I was pumped!  My name is never on anything!

Packing was wearing me down!

Headed to church for our last Sunday in the old house!

Aspyn is so sweet and patient with these kids!

Hey - gotta live up being in the country while you can, right??

That's a wrap on May!
