4th of July 2018

I always love the 4th of July.  We're smack in the middle of summer and usually having the time of our lives.  I also love that it's such a chill day full of swimming, food, and fireworks!  This year was no different!

My sister bought this hat for me on our trip to Vegas, and the 4th was the perfect day to rock it!

We're ready for a fun day!

I always have a fun time dressing the kids for the 4th, too.  I found this t-rex shirt for Cooper and he absolutely loved it!

What really makes the 4th so fun?  How pumped the kids are for everything!

We typically go to my mom's house and spend the day there, and this year was no different!

Kayla, Andrew, and Hadley came to play and celebrate, too.  We all love some baby snuggles!

Who needs to eat dinner when I can hold this precious babe?

Typically, we would go back to our house and do some pretty awesome fireworks there.  Since we've moved into a neighborhood, we can't really do the big ones anymore.  We got a big pack of the smaller ones and just did them at my mom's.  We did them pretty early so that Hadley would be awake for her first fireworks (plus - the kids just couldn't wait any longer!).

I was with Kayla when she bought this for Hadley when she was pregnant, and we talked about how neat it was going to be to actually have her here this year - and here she is wearing that sweet dress!

Just two boys who love fireworks.

Ya'll.  I absolutely love how excited my kids get watching fireworks.  I hope they always have something in their life that makes them this excited!

Jelly Bean rocked her Lady Liberty headband!

A look at the 4th over the years...
