Top 5 Posts of 2017

This is officially my last post about 2017!  Last year, I started something new where I looked back at my top read posts from the year and linked back to them here.  It's so interesting to look and see which posts get the most amount of views - there are always some that surprise me!

Here are my top posts for 2017:

#5 (part 1) - There were two posts that tied for the #5 spot.  The first one is a Life Lately post from November.  In this post, I recapped us going to the local Air Show with the kids, going on a fancy double-date night with my sister, Cooper's Halloween party at school, having Cooper's class pet for the week, and baby Anna Reed coming to visit!

#5 (part 2) - Family Pictures:  This one is not really a surprise to me at all.  We did our pictures with Captured By Colson in the Spring, and they turned out amazing.  Lindsay always does a good job, but this years pictures just turned out over the top fantastic!

#4 - Weekend Recap: No Plan Edition - This is a random one that surprises me that it got so many hits.  This was literally just a post about our weekend where LL went to see "Alice in Wonderland" with Gigi and Poppy, Cooper and I had a little "at home" date night, and Matt took Cooper hunting.  It was a fun weekend to look back on!

#3 - September Randoms: My random posts of all the stuff at the end of the month typically get a good bit of hits (which is interesting to me).  Septembers was the most popular of all, and I recapped some Home Depot workshops with the kids, the beginning of painting the entire inside of our house in preparation to put it on the market this Spring, saying goodbye to our chickens, and some fun dress up days at school for Homecoming week!

#2 - LL's 8 Year Old Well-Check: At first look at this, I was surprised it made the top 5.  Then as I thought about it more, I'm not really as shocked.  I'm pretty sure that this is one that is high on the list due to googling.  I can see this popping up on a seach engine when people are trying to see what happens at a well-visit.  Either way, LL rocked out her well-check and is a happy, healthy little girl!

#1- Cooper's (5th) Avenger's Party: Now this one I'm not surprised about at all!  My birthday party posts always get a good bit of readership and this was a really fun one to plan!  Cooper is (still) obsessed with Avengers, so this was a party that made him super happy, and we already had a lot of supplies so it was a relatively easy and cheap party to plan!  I'm sure that this one is another one that probably pops up on search engines, too!

A big thank you to all of you readers here at The Robyn's Nest for 2017!  I just know that 2018 is going to be a BIG year for all of us!

I’ve been a long time reader of your blog as I found it through Emily’s blog! Emily stayed with my parents for a few days during the adoption process, so you have been to my parents’ house 😀

Elaine - oh my goodness - YES!! I was so concerned with a Emily staying with people she had never met before, but then I got there and your mom is seriously the SWEETEST PERSON EVER!!! She was seriously beyond amazing and Emily and Spear were in such great hands! I’m so glad you commented here! I wish I had had a chance to meet you while I was there!
