Cooper's 5th Birthday Letter from Daddy

Cooper,

Ok, 5 is enough big boy!  Stop growing up so fast!  You are my best buddy, and I want to spend every minute I can with you, so slow down a bit!  I know slowing down is something you just can't do since you're wide open all the time.

Son, I just can't tell you how much I love being your daddy.  You're funny, smart, fun, and your smile can light up even the darkest room.

Last year was a blast.  You caught your first fish all by yourself, and we saw a deer when you went hunting with me.  You've really gotten good at swimming and helping me fix things.

I'm so excited to see what this year will bring.  I'll bet you learn to ride your bike without training wheels and ride your skateboard with your feet instead of laying on your belly.  I'll bet we bag a deer together and fish a lot.

I know you'll make a ton of new friends because everyone that meets you loves you.  The Lord has blessed us with you, son.  You are loved.  You're a great son, brother, friend, and person.

I love you,
Daddy.
