Family Pictures: Lorelai at 8 Years Old

Every year, I so look forward to working with sweet Lindsay at Captured By Colson for our family pictures.  She started taking pictures for us when LL was just three years old, and I am so happy that in the last 5 years, her role has changed from not only photographer but also friend.  She has such a fun, calming personality, and it really makes taking our pictures so much fun.

Usually, we do our pictures with her after school gets out - so the end of May/early June.  That means that it is always so hot at our pictures.  This year we got a little smarter and did them at the end of April.  We actually had a cold snap the day of pictures and the high of the day was 65 degrees - it was perfect and so much nicer than heat, and sweat, and gnats!  I have never been disappointed in Lindsay's work, but this year she just blew it out of the water.  All of our pictures were so amazing and I am so excited to finally share them!

I love that we got so many pictures with LL's sweet spirit, her infectious smile, and that adorably misplaced dimple!
