Weekend Recap: Build and Grow Edition

For the last weekend in August, we had a pretty fun, jam packed weekend planned.

First, Matt and I had a date planned for Friday night!  We haven't been on a date in quite a while, and it was well over-due!  Gigi came over and watched the kids and we went out to dinner, did a little shopping, and got some ice cream.  It was a great night with my favorite man!

Saturday was our super full day.  First up was the build-and-grow at Lowe's.  They have been building super heroes (and unfortunately we didn't know that until the last two), so we met Ben and Aunt Laura up there.

Kids in tiny aprons and goggles?  So cute!!

These three were ready!

We divided and conquered - Matt helped Cooper and I helped LL.

The boys!

Cooper did a fantastic job!

So random, but this is the exact same face that Cooper used to make when he was super little (like 1-2 years old).  It's so neat to see him still doing it!

My building buddy!  She is so adorable!

Ben had a blast, too!

Busy Mullicans,  ;)

The finished product!

Thankfully, they had some left overs from their past build and grows, so we got other super heroes to take home and do there.  The only ones we're missing now are Captain America and Iron Man (our favorites - of course).

A fun family morning!

After Lowe's, we ran some errands (like going to Sam's), and then we headed home for lunch and nap.  After nap, we met Aunt Laura, Ben, Grammy, and Pop at the movies to watch Pete's Dragon!

It was such a cute movie (and VERY family friendly).  We loved it!

Sunday morning we got up and hit the road for church.  Check out these cuties!

LL took a picture of us and did a good job!

When your kid/photographer tells you to make silly face for the next one, you do it!  :)

We spent the rest of Sunday cleaning, doing laundry, and getting ready for the week ahead!
