Halloween 2016

This year, Halloween was a full-filled time for us!  Starting off the festivities, LL and I both had dress up days at school!

Me and my hall-mates all dressed up as emoji's!

"Make the same face as your emoji"

LL dressed up in her costume this year - she was a veterinarian!

She had a trunk-or-treat at school (which we didn't know about or go to, but a sweet friend sent me this picture).

She also had a Halloween party at school (which we did know about and Matt went to).

LL and her teacher, Mrs. Cindy.

Yes.  This happened.  I don't know the details, but somehow she ended up with a coke.  Her first.  She's had sprite occasionally, but never coke.  Well.  She liked it.  She came to me and said, "Mommy, I drink coke now!"  Sorry, baby girl, but that isn't happening!  She hasn't had it since and hopefully won't for quite a while!

Cooper had a visit to the pumpkin patch at his school and Grammy and Pop went.
His sweet little class!

My precious boy!

I don't know why they're doing this, but it is so so cute.

Another activity that we had was a visit to the Fall Festival at LL's school!

He was a plinko pro!

Waiting in line for the fish game.

Cooper was brave and got his hair sprayed purple!

For the actual day of Halloween, we had a super fun, super busy day.  First up was trick-or-treating to all the grandparents houses!

My veterinarian and Iron Man are all ready to go!

What time is it?

Super hero time!

My best girl!  Her life may take her in lots of different directions, but I know she would make an awesome veterinarian if that's what she really wants to do!

We stopped by Meemee's first, but the only picture I got was one where she had curlers in her hair (and I didn't think she'd appreciate me posting that).  Next up was Oma and Opa's house!

Then we went by Gigi and Poppy's house.

Next up was Grammy and Pop's.  We actually stayed here for a little while to get a little break and to eat dinner before our big night of trick-or-treating.  We've kind of started a tradition where we eat chili dogs here before the big event.

I can honestly tell you that being a mom is the best thing of my life.  I love these kids and this man, and I can't imagine my life without them!  I am so blessed in my life!

After our dinner break, we headed over to Zach and Emily's house to go trick-or-treating with a group of friends around their neighborhood.  Our group of kids (minus Eli).

And we're off!  I am so proud of the kids.  They had such great manners all night and were so sweet to each other!

I was so proud!  They would go up to each house on their own!

Gosh I love this man.

Casey did a great job wrangling the babies.  :)

I am so blessed to have such a great group of girl friends in my life right now.  This hasn't always been the case, and there have been times in my adult life where I have longed and prayed for good friends.  God is faithful and has answered!  I love these girls!

Cooper was pumped to see Mrs. Kori while we were out and about!  Kori is one of my friends who is also Cooper's teacher this year!

All of our walking wore the babies out!

Towards the end of the night, LL was worn out.  She got in the baby wagon with Britt for a while.

The she stayed in and held Tess for a little bit (probably her favorite part of the night.  She loves Tess.)  Cooper was a beast when it came to trick-or-treating.  He didn't skip a single house and didn't ever want to stop.  He would have kept going for hours if we let him!

I love this girl!  We have seen each other through quite a few things over the last 6 years, but she is honestly one of the people who knows me best at this point.

After trick-or-treating, we let the kids have a few pieces of candy that they collected while they handed out the candy at Zach and Emily's house.  Cooper was too busy eating candy to smile.

These two have been friends since they were babies!

After we left the Parker's, we had one more stop to make at Kayla and Andrew's!  It was a great end to the night!

Honestly, this was my favorite Halloween by far!  Both kids just had so much fun and were so in to it!  It makes me very excited for next year!
