Christmas Tree Farm 2014

The first weekend in December was super packed for us.  We had a birthday party, we needed to get our Christmas tree, and our elf, Sparkle, came!  It was a full weekend, but a very fun one!  On Saturday morning, I took the kids solo to a birthday party while Matt helped a friend (Kayla) pick out a gift for her husband.  After the birthday party, we came home for lunch and naps.  When Cooper got up from his nap, we all went to the Christmas Tree Farm!  Kayla had never been to the local Christmas Tree Farm, so she went with us, too.  As usual, Gigi and Poppy met us there as well.

As soon as we got out of the car, the kids were OFF!  Cooper is very much able to keep up with LL this year, and they had so.  much.  fun.  running around!

I can't even tell you how much I love these two boys.

After walking and walking, we finally found the perfect tree.  And, of course, it was like the second one that we looked at.  :)

Ha!  My silly girl!

I hate that Cooper has funny eyes in this one because it's absolutely adorable.  And can we talk for a minute about how tall both of my kids are??  LL has always been in a very high percentage for height (like usually in the 90's), and Cooper is having no trouble keeping up with her in the height department!

After taking pictures in front of the tree, it was time for the boys to do their thing and cut it down!

Proof that Kayla was with us.  ;)

Sweet boy trying to pick the tree up for Daddy.

It's become tradition for LL and Gigi to ride on the back of a truck up to the shaker.  I'm sure Cooper will be getting in on this action next year.

Cooper didn't mind helping Daddy drive the truck.

A look back at our last 8 years of visiting the Christmas Tree Farm!

A look at how my babies  have grown and changed on all of our trips!

These pictures are so funny to me.  LL was so over picture taking and Cooper was doing fantastic.  Of course.

We spent the whole evening decorating, and I absolutely loved our tree this year.  I snapped this picture the next morning before church.  Can we just say "stud"??  This boy has stolen my heart!
