Valentine's Day 2014

One of the things that I don't really like about Valentine's Day is that it is so close to LL's birthday, that I often don't have time to think about it until the last minute.  This year, I really tried to be more intentional about it.  We put up some Valentine's decorations and did some crafts.  

LL had a Valentine's Day party planned at school this year.  Gigi and Poppy decided to go to the party to be with her and then take her home to spend the night, so it was close to a perfect day for her.

She was a huge helper in getting all of her Valentine's for her classmates done!

I absolutely love this: she looks like she's concentrating so hard during the prayer!

Grammy was super thoughtful and helped the kids make this picture for me.  I took it to school the next day and hung it up!

Even though he didn't have a very eventful day, Cooper still got dressed up for the occasion.  :)

I even got some sweet gifts from students this year!  A rarity for me!

LL really loved the card that we got her - it came with a crown in it.

Valentine's ended with the most beautiful sunset!
