Cooper's Dedication

When LL was little, we had her dedicated in church when she was 9 months old.  Cooper was dedicated at the beginning of May when he was 10 months old.  Here's the same description of what dedication is that I gave in LL's post:  What this means is that Matt and I (in front of our church and our family) promised to raise Cooper in a Christian household and to teach him Christian values both through studying and learning by example.  He didn't get baptised or anything like that; it's more of a promise from us to him.

It was a dedication service for all of the new babies (within the last year) of our church, so their were quite a few families there!  What was nice was that they had someone taking pictures there, so we were able to get a picture of all of our family that was there.  Ben was in town, so he got to come, too!

We're going to have to be more diligent in coordinating our outfits now that there are 4 of us - we kind of look a mess!

Some of my sweet boy by himself!

It was such a great night and I'm so glad that our families came out to support Cooper in his big day!  Cooper is just such a BIG blessing in our lives.  I can't wait to see who he grows up to be and how God uses him.  I so look forward to the day that he makes the decision to follow God on his own - and I know that he can be used in great ways!
