Cooper - 9 Months Old!

I remember thinking with LL that starting at about 9 months was one of my favorite ages (and again at around 18 months).  Now that we're here with Cooper, again, I'm am really LOVING this age.  I just think it's SO FUN.  Cooper is really understanding so much more every day.  He can crawl around.  He's starting to really "play".  His personality is coming out a TON.  I just love it!

Here's how Cooper is doing compared to What to Expect the First Year:

Stats:
Weight: 20 ish lbs
Diaper: Size 3
Clothes: Mostly 9 months with a few 6-9 still in there.

Schedule:
Cooper is still on his 4 hour schedule -
7am - up for the day! (6oz bottle)
8:00ish - breakfast (fruit)
8:45 - 9:00 - down for nap
11:00 - up and eat (6 oz)
12:00ish - lunch (vegetable)
12:45-1:00 - down for nap
3:00 - up and eat (6 oz)
5:45ish - dinner (fruit, vegetable, and table food)
6:30 - bath
6:45 - bottle (6oz) and bed

This is his "strong man".  He does this ALL the time.

It's hard to take pictures of a baby who won't stop moving!

Cooper can do all of the things that a nine month old baby should be able to:
-work to get a toy that's out of reach
-look for a dropped object

Cooper can do most of the things that a nine month old will probably be able to do:
-pull to a standing position from sitting
-creep or crawl
-get into a sitting position from stomach
-object if you try to take a toy away
-stand holding on to someone or something
-pick up tiny object with any part of thumb and finger
-play peekaboo

Bahahahaha

Cooper can not do one thing that a nine month old will probaby be able to do:
-say "mama" or  "dada" indiscriminately

We have entered the phase where he is into EVERYTHING.

Cooper can do most of the things that a nine month old may possibly be able to do:
-play patty-cake (clap hands) or wave bye-bye {he can wave bye-bye}
-understand "no" (but not always obey it)

Cooper can not do one thing a nine month old may possibly be able to do:
-walk holding on to furniture (cruise)

"strong man" again

Cooper can do two things that a nine month old may even be able to do:
-drink from a cup independently {I'm assuming they mean a sippy cup}
-pick up a tiny object neatly with tips of thumb and forefinger

Cooper can not do most of the things that a nine month old may even be able to do:
-"play ball" (roll ball back to you)
-stand alone momentarily
-stand alone well
-say "dada" or  "mama" discriminately
-say one word other than "mama" or "dada" {I *think* he says "hey" sometimes, but I'm not completely sure...}
-respond to a one-step command with gestures ("Give that to me" said with one hand out)
