LL's Weekly Work - Week 8

Lorelai's 8th week of school was from October 1-5.  This was also my first week back to school, so it was pretty CRAZY!  I'm sad to say that we did NOT get a picture of her every day like we had been (I now leave home at 6:30 in the morning - so it's up to Daddy to take a pic for me.  With two kids to get ready by himself, I know that's a big task!)  I did manage to get a few pics of her with her work this week, though.

This week also had a day of Fall Break for her (Friday), so she only went to school for 4 days.

This week they learned all about the letter "F".  They made fish, frogs, and flowers.  They learned about the miracle that Jesus performed with the five loaves and the two fish.  They read the books, "The Wide Mouthed Frog" (she has told us a LOT about this one!), "The Brave Little Fish", "The Fidgety Fish," and "Down on the Farm".  They also sang "Old McDonald" a lot this week!

The Bible verse for the week was Psalm 23:6 - "Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life".

Tuesday

They made baskets with five loaves and two fish.  She was SO PROUD of it!!
