LL's Weekly Work - Week 6

LL's 6th week of school was from September 17-21.  If her pictures look a little different, it's because I started letting her choose where she wanted to take them.  It doesn't make for a pretty back drop, but it does make for a more happy LL.  You do what you gotta do!

This week, LL learned all about the letter "D".  They talked about dinosaurs, donuts, and dots.  They learned about how David trusted God to help him fight a big giant.  They enjoyed singing "Deep and Wide", and "Only a Boy Named David".  They also read the books, "Skippy Jon Jones and the Big Bones", "Hit the Ball, Duck", "Duck at the Door", and "Harry, the Dirty Dog".

Thursday

Thursday was a new experience for us.  When I picked her up, her teacher let me know that LL got on "yellow".  Basically, she kept running in the classroom instead of walking and wouldn't listen when Mrs. Heather asked her to stop.  She got in time out for this.  :(  She *almost* got moved back onto green before pickup, but then she ran again.  She and I had a nice long talk about listening to our teachers and following directions.  She's been on green ever since.  :)

Next week LL is super star of the week!  So excited!
