My mom volunteered to watch LL for us one night the weekend before our anniversary so that we could go out on a date. We decided to just pick where we wanted to go to dinner that night since my picky pregnancy belly could change what I felt like at any point.
We've still gotta learn how to take self-portraits on my new camera - haha.
Once we got ready, we headed out and decided to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. We both LOVE it there and haven't been there in forever. Literally, I can't remember the last time that we went there.
My super yummy salad for dinner!
Duh - Matt got a steak.
Done with dinner - ready for popcorn!
After dinner, we headed over to the movies. I talked Matt into going to see "The Lucky One". I should have listened to him because the movie was terrible! Next time it'll be his turn to pick, for sure. Even though the movie was pretty bad, we still had a fun time spending time together.
Ok - here was our first attempt at a pic in the movie theater. Matt then said, "It's so dark. Why don't you turn the flash on??"
So I did. And this is what I got.
I told him, "please just be serious and lets take a picture!" This is what I got.
Then I said, "Matt! Just please be happy and take a picture!" This is what I got.
After he got all that out of his system, I finally got a cute shot of us. :)
It's been a wonderful first 8 years and I can't wait to see what we're up to in the next 8 years. One thing is for sure - we'll be doing it together!
