14 Months Old!

Lorelai,

You are today, my sweet baby girl, 14 months old!  You had a wonderful day today, and, because it is Spring Break, I got to spend it with you!  While I went to a doctor's appointment this morning, you spent time at your Grammy and Pop's house helping them plant flowers in their yard.  Boy did you have fun!  You were outside for about 2 hours and you were so dirty when you got done that they had to give you a bath!  I got to their house right after your bath, and we all got to eat lunch together.  At the end of lunch, we both got a surprise - - - daddy!  He was able to leave work early to spend more time with us!  We got home after lunch and you were SOOOO tired that you slept for 3 hours (frm 1:30 - 4:30)!!  When you got up we played, folded laundry, ate dinner, played some more, took a bath, and then got in bed.  As I type this, I can hear you moving around in your room, talking, throwing your paci and blankets out of your crib, and trying to put yourself to sleep.  I love hearing your little night time noises!!  You're sleeping tonight in your cute pj's that Grammy just got you for Valentine's Day.  The ones with the hearts all over the pants and the bunny on the shirt!  So cute!  Here are a few things about you at this age:

You have 7 teeth - 4 on top and 3 on bottom.  You just got one of those top teeth yesterday!

You sleep all night long - from 7:00 - somewhere between 6:00 and 7:00.

You are trying to get over an ear infection right now.  You started this last weekend, but because of an allergic reaction to the 1st set of antibiotics, you are now on antibiotics for another 5 days.

Your Grammy's birthday is tomorrow.

You Daddy's birthday is Friday (today is Monday)

You love to growl and give kisses.

You can "moo" like a cow and say "baaa" like a sheep.

When you are asked, you can point to your hair, mouth, teeth, and bellybutton.

When we sing "If you're happy and you know it", you stomp your little right foot as hard as you can!

You love Lola so much, and Lola loves you!

You drink three milk sippies during the day, and you just have ice water the rest of the time.

You fed yourself with a fork for the first time by yourself at dinner tonight!

You know how to throw the ball for Lola.

You take one nap a day (most days) for 2-3 hours.

You LOVE to be outside and you love to ride in your car.

You have the best smile and the best laugh.

You're not walking on your own, yet, but you sure could if you wanted to!

I love you so much, little girl!  I'm so happy that you are my daughter!

Love,
Mommy
